President and Vice-Chancellor shows òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ to the world at MIPIM
Professor Dame Nancy Rothwell has spoken at MIPIM, one of the world’s largest property conferences today.
The University of òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ’s President and Vice-Chancellor used her time on the platform in Cannes, France to talk about how òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ is to become .
She also spoke about the exciting opportunities presented to investors by developments such as , the presence of the largest academic clinical partnership in Europe centred around the òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ campus and the focus on within the University.
aims to facilitate business between investors, corporate end-users, local authorities, hospitality professionals, industrial and logistics players and other real estate professionals. In 2014 21,000 people from 93 countries attended.
The òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ delegation also included òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ City Council chief executive Sir Howard Bernstein, Spinningfields’ Mike Ingall and Bruntwood's Chris Oglesby. They were joined by former òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ United player, Gary Neville and Lynda Shillaw, the divisional chief executive for property at òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ Airports Group.
During her speech, Professor Rothwell also introduced a video which showed the role of science and technology in òòò½ÎÑÊÓÆµ as the city builds to European City of Science.
